From my studies and experience , I would recommend YouTube and Facebook  as two social media tools as being beneficial to libraries .
The reasons are both applications are librarian friendly , quite popular and  globally used to share library events, journalism, community events  and more .

Facebook   :  https://www.facebook.com/LiverpoolCityLibrary is Liverpool Public Library facebook link which provide events information and post  vidoes , lively social  group such as conversation cafe online, Tech Savvy Seniors for different language speakers , story time , book chat for community.

Instagram  :   https://www.instagram.com/liverpoolcitylibrary/?hl=en   is the instagram link of Liverpool Public Library  which post photos of social group and the upcoming events in the library..


Twitter  :   https://twitter.com/lpoollibrary  is Liverpool Public Library twitter which was being used to tweet the events shared in Liverpool Public Library. Unfortunately, I find out that this twitter is not being used actively as the last tweet was May 6, 2019 .

Youtube  :   https://www.youtube.com/user/LivCouncil  is Liverpool Public Library youtube link that provide video youtubes of story time , Liverpool Council meeting , message from Mayor , Community Hubs programs for Liverpool area.

https://lpl.org/blog/  is library blog in Liverpool public library in New York  which have many content categories such as Art, All Things Teen , book Clubs, book sale ,Film , Programs , Patron 's Vidoes , Technology , Social Media and Tecch Tips .

https://www.youtube.com/user/UTSLibrary   is  University Technology of Sydney  (UTS ) youtube link to give online tutorials and  how to use the UTS Library website.

https://en-gb.facebook.com/kogarahlibraryandculturalcentre/   is Kogarah public library and cultural centre facebook website which involve multi cultural community organizations to post events, photos and reviews as well for the area community .

https://twitter.com/utslibrary?lang=en    is the link of University Technology of Sydney  (UTS ) Library that use twitter @utslibrary  to connect people  by delivering knowledge and culture in UTS campus.

https://www.instagram.com/littlefreelibrary/  is the link of instagram that posts pictures of  adorable mini libraries grown across the globe  in different design shapes and size with reading offering to everyone as well.

Five types of Social Media tools are as follows :

3. Video Sharing
4. Interactive Media
5. Blogging/Community Building.
1. Social Networking
Social networking applications had been used by many people to connect and interact with others in different ways and platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.   Lots of business use Facebook which links to their business website for advertise their business profiles, menu details,  promotions strategy  and get reviews from facebook users  as well.
Companies also can use Twitter to post about company updates, respond to customer questions , retweet positive customer feedbacks  while LinkedIn is mostly  emphasizes to career-related networking.

  2. Photo Sharing
One of photo sharing applications is Instagram.  Instagram has been used by influencer marketing to campaigns , advertising e-commerce due to its highly visual feed layout which can post photos followed by a caption.  Instagram basic users can only share links in their bio as Instagram doesn't allow lonk sharing directly in the post .
3. Video Sharing
Youtube is one of the most popular video sharing applications with bigger audience base around the world compare to Vimeo  which is American community driven ( with headquartered in New York City ). Youtube also had been used as opportunities for advertisers and as influencer as well.

4. Interactive Media
Interactive Media application like Snapchat and TikTok include musical overlays and interactive games . Both application allows users to have a various interactive features on the top of photosharing and videosharing. TikTok had been used to create short dance, lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos.
5. Blogging/Community Building
Blogging applications such as Reddit and Tumblr are helpful to encourage users to post discussion about interesting topics , memes , events and publish them in their blog and see how others users respond with their commentary.
